Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the "Burada" mobile application (the "App") provided by Burada App (Buğrahan Murat Taşlıçay) (the "Data Controller"). By using the App you accept these terms.

This app is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.

1. Eligibility

• Only people aged 18 or over may use the App.
• Each person may open only one account and may link only an Instagram account that belongs to them.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for the security of your account. Don't share verification codes with anyone.
• The Instagram account you link and the photo you upload must be yours and must be truthful.

3. Community rules

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, threats, persistent unwanted contact, stalking or disturbing people,
• Impersonating someone or trying to link someone else's Instagram account,
• Hate speech, discrimination, incitement to violence,
• Using obscene, violent or unlawful photos,
• Spam, fraud, commercial advertising,
• Using fake locations or abusing the system to see users elsewhere or to estimate someone's location,
• Collecting data from the App by automated means (scraping) or sharing it with third parties,
• Any behavior involving or targeting people under 18.

You can report or block anyone who bothers you by long-pressing them in the list. We review reports and may suspend or close accounts that break the rules without notice.

4. Scope of the App

The App only shows the Instagram username, name and photo of people near you (about 100 m) who have the App open at that moment. Optional notifications only contain the number of people near you. Messaging, following and all other interactions happen on Instagram and are subject to Instagram's own rules. The Data Controller is not responsible for interactions between users. Take care for your own safety when meeting people you don't know.

5. Availability

The App is provided "as is". Proximity detection depends on GPS accuracy and may not always be correct. We may change, temporarily suspend or discontinue the service.

6. Termination

You can permanently delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or delete your account if you breach these terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Data Controller is not liable for indirect damages, for the conduct of users or for damages arising from third-party services (including Instagram).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Kütahya have jurisdiction; your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts is reserved.

9. Changes

When we update these terms we increase their version number and announce significant changes in the App.
